Our Philosophy

Our focus is on the well-being of your dog, using only a cloth muzzle for safety when necessary and approved by you. We prioritize humane treatment over appearance, driven by our love for dogs!

We deeply value the relationship we build with your dogs, as that bond is crucial for a positive grooming experience. Ultimately, our goal is for grooming to be a pleasant experience for all!

Appointment Policies

All clients will have a card on file for convenience.

We kindly request a 48-hour notice for cancellations. If an appointment is canceled without notice or if there is a no-show on the day of the appointment, a charge for the full service amount will apply.

Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a 50% charge. If you need to reschedule within 7 days of a cancellation, the 50% fee will also apply to the new appointment.

To assist with scheduling, we send out three confirmation text messages three days before your appointment.

Important Information for Pet Owners

It is essential that you inform us of any:

  • Medical or behavioral issues
  • Allergies or sensitivities
  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Previous surgeries
  • Hip or joint issues
  • Skin conditions
  • Medications your pet may be on

This helps ensure a safe and positive grooming experience for your pet.

Hello Fresh Paws reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, prioritizing the safety and comfort of all pets.

Pricing Structure

Pricing is determined by your dog's:

  • Size
  • Coat condition
  • Time since the last grooming

Additional charges may apply for services such as:

  • De-matting
  • Flea removal

There may also be extra costs for grooming aggressive or reactive dogs, typically ranging from $25-$50 based on the grooming risk assessment.

Matting Policy

If your pet's coat cannot be safely de-matted, we will clip the hair short to start anew.

Please note that a matted coat can lead to various health issues, including skin irritations.

Taking care of matting can sometimes pose risks of nicks and cuts due to underlying conditions.

We cannot be held responsible for any pre-existing conditions resulting from matting.

Payment Options

We accept:

  • Cash
  • Checks (payable to: Hello Fresh Paws or Cash)
  • Venmo
  • Apple Pay
  • Most major credit cards

Tips are always appreciated but not required.

A $35 charge will be applied for any returned checks due to insufficient funds.

Scheduling Recommendations

To maintain optimal grooming for your pet, we recommend booking appointments every 4-6 weeks.

This schedule will help prevent matting and ensure your dog's well-being.

Regular grooming is not only beneficial for your pet's coat and skin but also facilitates our scheduling for both existing and new clients.

If an appointment is rescheduled multiple times, we may require prepayment.

By signing our release form, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions outlined for the grooming services at Hello Fresh Paws. You also agree to:

  • Hold the salon harmless from any claims arising from known or unknown pre-existing conditions of your pet(s)
  • In the event of a medical emergency, authorize Hello Fresh Paws to act on your behalf for veterinary care
  • Cover any associated costs for emergency veterinary care
  • Recognize that relevant conditions may include illness, past injuries, skin issues, and behavioral concerns
